The Heroes made it out of the fire, but the frying pan is so much worse. Succumbing to their wounds, a new team must assemble and continue the salvation of Koria Station.
This episode not only introduces the next set of Hex Grid Heroes, but it also brings on another player in the game itself, Johnny. He was the Wolf-Man Jax in the Holiday Special, and now we’ve finally caught up to that time period of recordings. And I do apologize for the wibbly-wobbliness of that statement. The timelines are secure and stable now.
You may actually recognize Johnny from another podcast we put out: Pokemon Seicho. It is a D&D 5e Pokemon campaign that he’s the brain and GM for. He’s killing it, both as a GM but also a content creator. Truly makes me (Don/Dr. Kes in case you’ve forgotten) proud to see him blossom as much as he has. The teaser for that show is at the top of this week’s episode.
More big things are on the near horizon, next week we launch the THIRD show in the Hex Grid Heroes Podcast Network(you may notice some construction on this website, please bear with us) called ‘Hex Grid Heroes: After Dark’. Using the ‘Cyberpunk 2020’ tabletop game system, Kevin guides us along a truly dark and violent story, set in the city we all live in, Colorado Springs, in a dark future. This one is not for the faint of heart. Trigger and content warnings throughout. The teaser is in the episode, but it is also on this page. Please be aware, it will be dropped at the end of each month, and in the regular Hex Grid feeds.
